My space.com

Hello how is your summer going so far I know we are only what? three days into the summer but I pray you all have a great one.

So I have this corner in my house outside that when we finished construction was left empty. I put a bistro set and called it 'My Space" when I want to drink some coffee and just reflect and spend time with God. I was also redecorating the inside of my house and had these wire, I don't know what you would call them? wall décor I guess?? but I took them down and replaced them with some art work. I was still left with these wall décor that I scored at Marshalls and had know were to put them. Not to mention that I have been having a problem with the rabbits eating my potted plants that are sitting around my patio, but guess what bugs bunny you can't reach these!

Well the DIY in my and my creative blessing started flowing and this is what I came up with below.

I started with a small flat of flowers and some terracotta pots that was sitting in my garage
let me tell you - you could really find some treasures in your own garage.
(remember those chairs I painted)

these are the wall décor that I changed from inside to outside.

How cute is this it's almost like the pots were made for that purpose.

So that is why this is called my space, my own little French garden area..
I LOVE IT!!!

Enjoy your day Lovelies and always remember Jesus Loves you and so do I.

Save Money

Hello my friends, getting very hot here!! but I love the weather I go outside and eat lunch on my break so refreshing. So I have been saving money and cutting cost. I would pay every two weeks $65.00 for UV gel fill in with color, or however they say it that added up $130 a month with tip $150.00, and if I got a pedicure that sent me bill to $85.00 ($170.00 monthly) plus tips! Ok I said enough of that I was paying more for my nails then I was my hair Oh! and then to top that the would chip or crack a few days later..... no I am done.

My new thing is just get a regular manicure but who wants to sit under that loud dryer and wait, I wanted to just run out the door when the girl was finished after me sitting there for 30-45 minutes ok! well I have started doing my nails myself, I removed gels, glue and anything that was smothering my nails from breathing. I wasn't to fond of that UV light anyway was hearing horror stories about skin cancer, but don't by what I say research it.

I feel so liberated sound weird right? but I went and bought nail strengthener because my nails had gotten weak from the gel (which the nail salon claims does not weaken?) Not...my nails were paper thin and brittle, the first month I could not barely pick up anything with my bending back ouch!! The beauty of doing my own nails is that I can change the polish 2-3 times a week to match my outfits Yess!!! occasionally I will get a mani/pedi just to relax, but I am loving this. My nails are stronger and looking healthy.

Also loving the colors from Essie and OPI...
since I love Pink so much this is my favorite color and I did it all by myself. $$$$ money saved.

Love this color from Sally Hansen and it dries super fast.

that's me nail modeling...LOL

This is my go to topcoat!

So my money goes into a savings account and my fabulous pixie haircuts!

Blessings my friends

New Beginnings

Hello my friends I have not blogged in awhile because I have been so busy, Although I do have  a great story on new beginnings. A friend of mines recently divorced I know your probably saying that is not great news, but from what she went through it was painful and hurtful for her. Me being her best friend don't condone divorce because I believe the word of God, and she really tried to work things out, but some circumstances just can't make it.

So she asked me to help her make over her bedroom, being she is single and wants a fresh look on life. My husband and I took a Saturday and went over to her home painted her walls, hang curtains, new blinds etc...she loved the stencil in my bathroom so much that we put it in her room for her. Well can I say that purple is her favorite color and my husband and I had fun and ate some good lasagna that she prepared for us...Yum!

her room furniture is new and she didn't want to change it, so out theme is rustic shabby chic.

really bold purple but hey she love it!

stenciling 101 for the homeowner!

Once she got the hang of it there was no stopping her!!

we are not done she bought herself a 50" TV for the wall and I just ordered her chandelier from
JossandMain.com you know that is my favorite go to website for the nicest décor.

link for the chandelier this is going to look fabulous in that room, the metals from her headboard and footboard and will match the metals in the chandelier.

Once the room is complete more pictures!!!

Peace and Blessings

Good day!! how was every one's Mother's day celebrations. My gorgeous mom, sister and me went for mani/pedi so much fun, it was great seeing my sister out and relaxing she has four beautiful children ranging in age 5-14 and she can be quite busy. The spa day is truly what she needed, then I had a good ole' backyard BBQ for the family and the weather was beautiful thank you Jesus. My handsome husband knows how much I want to be a mommy so he took me shopping early Sunday morning for a nice treat...Yess!  a Louis Vuitton bag I was so happy we walked in the store and the greeters at those stores are extra nice they actually wait on you and stick only to you, until they have made the $1000.00 sale, yes one thousand dollars.....God I love my husband just for the lavish gifts but because he truly loves me and I love him, our relationship has blossomed and we are celebrating out fifth wedding anniversary this year. God is so Good!

no knock off pocketbooks allowed...LOL

Busy as a Bee!!

So I have not blogged in a couple of days now!! oops...But I missed doing it. I have been busy as a little ole' Bee Yes I have...What's first did anyone partake in restaurant week in NYC last week, well my husband and I enjoyed the pre-fixe menus of some of the finest restaurant on Long Island. We had filet mignon one night and just enjoyed partaking in the scrumptious flavors of the various places. If you have never tried restaurant week you must - come out of the regular red lobsters, china buffets and eat with the best you deserve it. We went to this restaurant called tellerschophouse.com this steak house is gorgeous and the food is delicious they make the best lobster mac & cheese.
this is the sidewalk going into Tellers Chop House restaurant isn't this just the nicest atmosphere, reminds me of the streets of Italy.

Another journey of mines this month was I had my nails done and since I love diamonds, my nail technician added these cute pink diamond and made into the shape of a necklace. Amazing the creativity of some people I love it...

so awhile back I bought these stools for my kitchen island, and they were plain so I ordered these nail heads online and added them to the chairs, and this bought a whole new look to these plain chairs.

there is this website called DaySpring.com and they have the nicest items most of there stuff is Christian based and being that I LOVE the Lord this was right up my alley. So I bought these vinyl words that you put on your walls, well my bedroom is adorned with the following words (see below). This was so easy of course it was to tall for me to accomplish so my 6' 4' tall hunky, sexy, stud ok enough he put it up!! LOL and every morning when I am preparing for my day I have these words to remind me that the Lord is the strength of my life....

how nice is that!!

Have a blessed day and lovely week,
God loves you and so do I!!!
