oops! another color re-do

Everyone knows that my style in my home can change in a minute, I have no problem using a can of spray paint (for the right reasons). So I have the patio set that I sprayed I would guess 2-3 years ago a nice brown, well after purchasing a new rug the color did no longer match so off to the Home Depot my husband and I went. With spray paint in hand and creative juices flowing another cute girl DIY design manifesto was created.

the nice color I choose, I know you are saying wow that's blue but just wait???

this what my hand me down table and umbrella, $30.00 chairs from home depot used to look
like few years ago, its was still nice but?

I played hooky from work one day (mental health day) and was watching
GMA (Good Morning America) and the steals and deals came on, this rug was originally priced at
$139.00 - well I got it for $50.00 just the right size I was looking for, who could pass up that bargain!

Ok! tell me what you think, I absolutely love the color
see what a little can of spray paint will do you could have a whole new set.

besides I think the blue looks much better!

I have been very busy this summer, hosted a Mary & Martha Garden Tea Party
with some of the most amazing woman, we laughed, cried and fellowshipped what
a beautiful day it turned out to be I will be definitely be doing this again next summer.

Happiness!!

Well Happy Belated Birthday to me I celebrated my 44th Birthday on July 4th...that's right I am an independence baby. It was a good day Thank God very peaceful and full of love despite the Northeast rain, but the sun came out. I have just had so many celebrations going on to start my brothers oldest daughter went to her senior prom so pretty (see pics below) and she graduated from high school and collage bound Yess!! My friend daughter also graduated and collage bound to PA great so happy for these young ladies.

On another note I bought a bike...Yes I did and went riding with some good friends and my husband, I tell you it was fun and interesting at the same time when my friend Elder Carol said after riding for roughly 10 minutes "can we go get ice-cream" Really Carol!! we are riding to get in shape and you want ice-cream, well needless to say we didn't get the ice-cream that day but yogurt the next day. The whole experience was great sore the next day but felt great.

My wonderful husband took me to restaurantprime.com
this place is gorgeous click the link above, of course you need at least $150-$300 to eat there
but the food and the live Jazz was awesome. I just Love my Husband. This restaurant gave me a free dessert (this was not it) I had it to go, but because I did that they sent this out and a $25.00 gift card when I go back!
my new ride...kmart.com got the bike and on sale $120.00 Birthday gift from hubby.
(note to self!!) definitely get a larger gel seat...ouch!

my gorgeous niece and my brother on her prom night....
this is my future attorney. She already has class and sass going to be a great Lawyer.
I had to post these, I was watching wife swap and one of the wives had her maid walk around the
house with these on, so I found them on amazon.com type in dusting slippers
they come in all colors.  I love them my husband thinks that I am OCD but my house is clean.

Have a blessed weekend!

God has been so good to me at the age of 44 I am learning to forgive and forget, I have been through so much in the past 3 years my life has changed; and I have no one but my Lord to Thank for Him staying his loving hand on me. Some people say that "I forgive you, but I don't forget it", well I forget it cause I know that Jesus has forgotten some things that I have done. I love my relationship with God it makes me who I am, I cannot be no one else.

My space.com

Hello how is your summer going so far I know we are only what? three days into the summer but I pray you all have a great one.

So I have this corner in my house outside that when we finished construction was left empty. I put a bistro set and called it 'My Space" when I want to drink some coffee and just reflect and spend time with God. I was also redecorating the inside of my house and had these wire, I don't know what you would call them? wall décor I guess?? but I took them down and replaced them with some art work. I was still left with these wall décor that I scored at Marshalls and had know were to put them. Not to mention that I have been having a problem with the rabbits eating my potted plants that are sitting around my patio, but guess what bugs bunny you can't reach these!

Well the DIY in my and my creative blessing started flowing and this is what I came up with below.

I started with a small flat of flowers and some terracotta pots that was sitting in my garage
let me tell you - you could really find some treasures in your own garage.
(remember those chairs I painted)

these are the wall décor that I changed from inside to outside.

How cute is this it's almost like the pots were made for that purpose.

So that is why this is called my space, my own little French garden area..
I LOVE IT!!!

Enjoy your day Lovelies and always remember Jesus Loves you and so do I.

Save Money

Hello my friends, getting very hot here!! but I love the weather I go outside and eat lunch on my break so refreshing. So I have been saving money and cutting cost. I would pay every two weeks $65.00 for UV gel fill in with color, or however they say it that added up $130 a month with tip $150.00, and if I got a pedicure that sent me bill to $85.00 ($170.00 monthly) plus tips! Ok I said enough of that I was paying more for my nails then I was my hair Oh! and then to top that the would chip or crack a few days later..... no I am done.

My new thing is just get a regular manicure but who wants to sit under that loud dryer and wait, I wanted to just run out the door when the girl was finished after me sitting there for 30-45 minutes ok! well I have started doing my nails myself, I removed gels, glue and anything that was smothering my nails from breathing. I wasn't to fond of that UV light anyway was hearing horror stories about skin cancer, but don't by what I say research it.

I feel so liberated sound weird right? but I went and bought nail strengthener because my nails had gotten weak from the gel (which the nail salon claims does not weaken?) Not...my nails were paper thin and brittle, the first month I could not barely pick up anything with my bending back ouch!! The beauty of doing my own nails is that I can change the polish 2-3 times a week to match my outfits Yess!!! occasionally I will get a mani/pedi just to relax, but I am loving this. My nails are stronger and looking healthy.

Also loving the colors from Essie and OPI...
since I love Pink so much this is my favorite color and I did it all by myself. $$$$ money saved.

Love this color from Sally Hansen and it dries super fast.

that's me nail modeling...LOL

This is my go to topcoat!

So my money goes into a savings account and my fabulous pixie haircuts!

Blessings my friends

Trina
XOXOXO
